Northern Essex Community College was the only community college represented at the American College Dance Festival’s New England Conference, held February 8 through 11 at Connecticut College.
Thirteen Northern Essex dancers performed “The Meeting”, a piece about group therapy, choreographed by NECC Dance Program Coordinator Michelle Deane.
The dancers also participated in classes and attended performances during the four-day festival.
Northern Essex was in good company.  The other colleges participating included Harvard University, Boston University, Boston Conservatory, UMass Amherst, Salem State, Providence College, and the University of Vermont.
